Why the Seed Vault Exists

Across the world, medicinal and food-bearing plant species are disappearing at an alarming rate — lost to habitat destruction, monoculture agriculture, and the erosion of traditional knowledge. The Twin Dragons Seed Vault was founded to stand against that tide. We collect, preserve, document, and propagate seeds that might otherwise vanish from the earth — and we fund that work through the generosity of our members.
